12th ANNUAL NAVARRE FUN FEST 5K RUN & 1-MILE FUN RUN

 Attention runners and walkers of all ages!  Lace up your shoes for the 12th Annual Navarre Fun Fest 5K & Fun Run.

This year’s event is sponsored by Beach Colony West, exclusively marketed by La Florida Coastal Properties, L.L.C., and will benefit community events and activities. The run is Saturday, April 26, at 8 am at Navarre Beach. 

Runners and walkers of all ages are eligible for awards, and the first 200 registrants are guaranteed a T-shirt.  The race is a Non-Timed 5K & 1mile FUN-RUN and will start and finish near the Fun Fest site on Gulf Blvd on Navarre Beach. The course is out and back 3.1 miles along Gulf Boulevard on Navarre Beach.   All post race activities, including awards and music will take place on the Fun Fest festival grounds. 

The entry fee is $15 through April 25, and $20 on race day.  Register online at www.active.com or download a form at www.navarrechamber.com under Fun Fest.   Participants may also register or pick up Race packets and T-shirts on Friday, April 25 from 2-6 pm at the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce/Visitor's Center, 8543 Navarre Parkway.

The Fun Run will start along with the 5K.  All ages are invited to participate in this event.  Bring the entire family and race to the finish line.  The entry fee is $15.

The 12^th Annual Run is part of the 2014 Annual Navarre Fun Fest sponsored by Santa Rosa Medical Center on April 25 and 26 on Navarre Beach.  Fun Fest is an annual celebration with local artist booths, food vendors, children’s activities, live entertainment, a beachside fireworks show and more!

5K & 1mile FUN-RUN. Start 8:00: Navarre Beach Park parking lot (north side of Gulf Blvd), one hour course time limit. 

Beautiful Out and Back 5K (3.1 miles) or 1 mile.***No awards for place finishers

***T-Shirts: Guaranteed to the first 200 registrants.

***Packet pick-up, Friday, April 25, 2-6 pm at Navarre Chamber/Visitor Information Center on Hwy. 98 (8543 Navarre Parkway) at the foot of the Navarre Beach Bridge or on Race Day, 6:30 am at Race Start. 

***One Mile Fun-Run: Will Start along with 5K .

The 2013 Funfest 5K will be a non-competitive, un-scored “themed” event with prizes being awarded to individual runners and teams that best exemplify the race theme: “A Toast of Gulf Seafood.”  Random door prizes also awarded to participants. Post Race Party and at Navarre Fun Fest site. Music & refreshments, have your race bib please.  Door Prizes!  No divisions or age groups. One category, everyone starts together, any distance. Proceeds benefit local charities.
