Okaloosa Island, Feb.24, 2013 The Emerald Coast Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Emerald Coast Convention Center and its industry partners are hosting a Snowbird Appreciation Sock Hop on Sunday, February 24th from 7-10pm for both our Snowbirds and our locals! We invite you to “Rock Around the Clock” at the Emerald Coast Convention Center dressed in your best 50’s attire! Bring out your greatest Marilyn or Elvis impersonations!
This blast from the past will include live music from Ron Adams as Elvis and the Emerald Gold Band, dancing, timely trivia, contests, raffles and more! Bring your dancing shoes and participate in the dance contest or the costume contest for a chance to win $100!
Tickets will be on sale at the Emerald Coast Convention Center, and are $8.00 in advance through February 22, 2013 or $10.00 at the standard price. This price includes entertainment, snacks, complimentary soda bar and an entry to win door prizes.
