Thinking about starting your own business? The Florida SBDC at UWF/FWB offers “Starting a Business” on Friday, May 3, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. In this three-hour workshop we will take an in-depth view of your business concept and discuss the steps to a successful start: Is there a need for your product or service? We will discuss funding options for your business, basic marketing strategies, legal business structures, taxation and the nuts-and-bolts of actually launching your new venture. Attendance fee is $50 online for the public (required at online registration – No Refunds) and no fee for students and employees of UWF (just call us at 850-586-7809 to register).
