DESCRIPTION:Sheriff Bob Johnson is slated to speak at the ceremony.\n\n\n\nAfter the ceremony\, there will have live music and food donated by area restaurants will be available for a $10 donation.\n\n\n\nThere will also be a chance drawing and silent auction for some great prizes.\n\n\n\nAll monies raised will go to Deputy Nic Hubbard.  eputy Nic Hubbard has been with the Santa Rosa Co Sheriffs Dept for 1.5 years. He served in the US Army for 5 years. He and his wife Lauren have a son that just turned one on Feb. 13th. He is a resident of Navarre. Nic and Lauren purchased a house close to the high school just months prior to him being diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. 3% of cancer victims cannot accept chemo as treatment and unfortunately Nic is that 3%. He is currently renting a house in Baltimore where he temporarily resides and is receiving alternative treatment at Johns Hopkins. Their financial burdens have become so heavy that they have recently had to put their Navarre home on the market. This is why we are raising much needed $$$$ for Nic and his family.
