\n\nIn response to the COVID-19 surge this summer and the significant increase in current cases and hospitalizations in our area\, The Navarre Chamber&rsquo\;s Board of Directors voted to reinstate some COVID-19 Guidelines.
\n\n\;
\n\nAs a community organization\, it is our mission to promote not just economic prosperity but to be a civic and public health leader as well. The health of our members and community is our top priority. \;
\n\n\;
\n\nWith everybody&rsquo\;s health in mind\, we have decided to pause our indoor\, in-person meetings through the month of September. This recommendation is in line with guidelines from both our local health care organizations and the Centers for Disease Control.
\n\n\;
\n\nWe accept that there will be negative aspects to this decision\; however\, we believe that they are outweighed by our duty to community health and our desire to keep our members healthy and their businesses open and operating throughout this latest wave. We truly believe that a strong vaccination program and continuing to follow CDC guidelines will help us move past this pandemic and reach our goal of a more prosperous Navarre.
