DESCRIPTION:VOTING INFORMATION\n\n\n\nSAMPLE BALLOT\n\n\n\nSANTA ROSA COUNTY LOCAL OPTION SALES TAX INFORMATION\n\n\n\nNAVARRE BEACH AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE BOARD OF DIRECTORS\n\nRESOLUTION SUPPORTING A LOCAL OPTION SALES TAX \n\nIN SANTA ROSA COUNTY\n\n  \n\nWHEREAS\, the mission of the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce is to develop an attractive business environment that provides opportunity for economic growth while improving the quality of life and enhancing the standard of living for the entire Navarre area\; and\n\n \n\nWHEREAS\, the continued and anticipated growth in Santa Rosa County will increase the need for future infrastructure projects\; and \n\n \n\nWHEREAS\, current and future infrastructure and other needs are without a funding source\; and\n\n \n\nWHEREAS\, we believe a County without the means to keep these projects funded will be at a significant competitive disadvantage when it comes to attracting and expanding business\; and \n\n \n\nWHEREAS\, we recognize the need to not burden property owners of the County with additional taxes\; \n\n \n\nTHEREFORE\, BE IT RESOLVED\, due to the positive economic impact upon the County\, the Board of Directors of the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce support the Local Option Sales Tax in Santa Rosa County\, subject to approval of the voters of Santa Rosa County this October 8\, 2019\, with an implementation plan insuring performance\, oversight and accountability.  \n\n \n\nAPPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce on September 20\, 2019.
