On Tues.\, Sept. 29 at 6 p.m.\, \;the county administrator and Santa Rosa County Office of Management and Budget (OMB) will present the \;
fiscal year 21 budget \;
to the board of county commissioners for approval in the final public hearing \;at \;the
\;Administrative Complex\, 6495 Caroline St. in Milton.\n
\n The total budget of $165\,935\,810 represents a 6.84 percent decrease from last fiscal year. The development of the FY21 annual budget reflects the commissioners&rsquo\; consistent fiscally conservative approach to budgeting\, holding the property tax millage rate constant for the 12th consecutive year\, and the county&rsquo\;s continuous commitment to excellence and innovation while remaining vigilant in adapting to economic stimuli\, service demands and technological enhancements.
