DESCRIPTION:The Navarre Chamber's Military Affairs Committee (MAC) strives to show our military neighbors how much we appreciate them.  We take great pride in being very well known as the most military friendly community. The military bases surrounding Navarre have a significant economic impact on our community\, as millions of dollars enter our economy through the presence of active duty military personnel\, civilian employees\, retirees and their families.\n\n\n\nThe Chamber's role is one of advocate and champion for our military.  We work tirelessly to strengthen the relationships between our community and the military\, working to support their families\, and retaining and expanding the local military footprint. The benefits of a vibrant military community are numerous and we work with local leaders to enhance opportunities for soldiers throughout our area. These efforts help create an atmosphere that welcomes our military families\, embraces and supports their needs\, and encourages them to retire in the Navarre Beach area.\n\n\n\nThe Chamber's Military Affairs Committee is organizing a "Project Team" that will focus on more outreach with the military families in the Navarre area.  They will work year-round to promote communication and interaction between the military and the businesses of the Navarre Beach area. It is our goal to make active duty and retired soldiers and their families always feel welcome in Navarre and Santa Rosa County\, whether they are just here to visit or have made it their home.\n\n\n\nAll MAC members interested in getting involved with this "Outreach Project Team"\, a program of our Military Affairs Committee\, are invited to join us for a meeting on Tuesday\, October 1\, 2019 at 4 pm at The Navarre Chamber Information Center\, 1804 Prado Street\, or contact Gayle McClure via email at gayleamcclure@gmail.com.\n\n\n\nWe hope you can join us!\n\n\n\n\n\n____________________________________________________\n\n\n\nMembership in the Navarre Chamber Military Affairs Committee (MAC) is open to ALL Chamber Members.\n\n\n\nCLICK HERE for an Application if you are not currently a MAC Member.   \n\n\n\nApplications will also be available at the Meeting.
