DESCRIPTION:The Navarre Chamber's Military & Veteran Affairs Committee is currently meeting LIVE and IN-PERSON on the first Monday of each month at 11:30 am.\n\n\n\nThere is also an Option to be part of the Meeting Via Zoom - See Below to Register)\n\n\n\nEveryone is invited to attend The Navarre Chamber's Military & Veteran Affairs Committee Meeting on Monday\, June 6\, 2022 at 11:30 am at The Navarre Chamber Information Center at 1804 Prado Street (behind TC's Front Porch). \n\n\n\nLunch will be served\, and is being sponsored by University Lending Group.\n\nPlease RSVP NOW so we can have an accurate count for lunch. \n\n\n\nThe Guest Speakers will be: \n\n\n AFSOC's 2021 Spouse of the Year: Angela Nandin/Emerald Coast Exceptional Families\n Santa Rosa County Sheriff Bob Johnson\n\nThey will be giving an in-depth presentation on Santa Rosa County's new SAFE Program\, sponsored by Santa Rosa County Sheriff Bob Johnson.\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\nPlease REGISTER NOW to reserve your seat for this meeting as we anticipate it to be standing room only.\n\n\n\n \n\nActive duty representatives from the area bases are always invited to attend this Committee Meeting and give updates at each meeting.\n\n\n\nAnd\, we encourage Veterans from all service branches to be involved with the Chamber's Military & Veteran Affairs Committee. \n\n \n\nThe meetings are a good forum to communicate military member needs and issues to our business community and a vehicle for the business community to communicate opportunities and resources available to military families in the Navarre area. \n\n \n\nThe Navarre Chamber's Military & Veteran Affairs Committee is committed to supporting all the active duty and retired military families in the Navarre area.\n\n\n\nIt is our goal to make military service members and their families always feel welcome\, whether they are just here to visit or have made our community their home. \n\n\n\nThe Committee is focused on opportunities to help enhance our community and make it the best place for military families to live\, shop\, visit and enjoy.\n\n \n\nThe military bases located in the Navarre area have an enormous economic impact on our community and the local economy\, and we are committed to helping strengthen the relationships between our local business community and military personnel and their families and partnerships that are mutually beneficial. \n\n \n\nWe never take for granted the hard work\, dedication and sacrifice that our military families have made and/or are making for our country\, and we believe we must always let them know that we\, as a community\, care a great deal about them.\n\n \n\nThe Chamber's Annual Military Appreciation Picnic is the perfect opportunity for the businesses in the Navarre area to come together to thank our local hometown heroes for everything they do for our community\, county and Northwest Florida. From volunteering during the hurricane recoveries to serving abroad\, our service men and women dedicate their lives to serving others. This Annual Picnic is our community's opportunity to show them our appreciation by treating their families to an annual fun-filled patriotic themed picnic on Navarre Beach. \n\n\n\nThe next Picnic is currently planned to take place in May 2023 on Navarre Beach\, and all active duty\, Veterans & retired military families will be invited to attend.\n\n\n\nIn addition\, there are also special event opportunities for Navarre Chamber Military & Veteran Affairs Committee Members to participate in\, including base tours\, ceremonies and holiday events.\n\n \n\nThe Navarre Chamber Military and Veteran Affairs Committee Meetings are open to all Chamber Members and usually held on the first Monday of every month at 11:30 am. (There is no extra cost for Chamber Members to be part of this Committee.)
