DESCRIPTION:Munch & Learn Workshop:  "Understanding 2-1-1"\n\nPresented by:\n\nMike Martin\, Director of 2-1-1 Northwest Florida\n\n\n\nDid you know that in 2019\, Santa Rosa County began receiving full 2-1-1 services 24 hours a day\, 7 days a week?\n\n\n\n2-1-1 Northwest Florida is a program of the United Way of West Florida -- believing that information and referral is a core infrastructure that supports all the agencies that in turn support our citizens.\n\n\n\nThey work to make service and resource searching easy - to help you\, your neighbor or the social service professional.\n\n\n\nTheir staff is also trained to stimulate the development of individual problem-solving concepts and educate the public on alternatives to the crisis response.\n\n\n\n2-1-1 maintains up-to-date information on emergency food and shelter\, services for families and senior citizens\, health care\, child care\, services for people with disabilities\, counseling and mental health services and more.\n\n\n\nThis Munch & Learn Workshop is a project of the Navarre Community by the Navarre Chamber's Non-Profit Committee.
