DESCRIPTION:On behalf of Brig. Gen. Heath Collins\, U.S. Air Force Armament Directorate Director and Program Executive Officer for Weapons\, I'm pleased to invite you to watch innovation proposals from small businesses during Weapons Pitch Day on April 29\, 2021. The event will be live-streamed via AirForceWeapons.com beginning at 9:00 a.m. \n\n \n\nWeapons Pitch Day is the culminating event for small business industry engagement. In October 2020\, the Armament Directorate received 213 Phase I proposals for Weapons Pitch Day. This was the largest number of proposals received for any PEO Pitch Day team. In early November 2020\, over 50 technical SMEs from the Armament Directorate\, AFRL\, SOCOM and AFSOC participated in a 5-day evaluation sprint.\n\n \n\nMeet the final 23 businesses as they speed pitch innovation ideas to a senior leader panel.
