DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, May 14th the Defense and Aerospace Export Council ((DAEC) will host Ambassador David Shear\, former Ambassador to Vietnam and Assistant Secretary of Defense for Asian and Pacific Security Affairs\, for a discussion with Members.  Dave is a member of the DAEC's Advisory Board and will discuss defense and national security challenges for the U.S. in the Pacific.  Specifically\, he will remind us of what were U.S. security concerns before this pandemic while sharing his views on the threats and challenges we may face in a post pandemic Pacific region.
