DESCRIPTION:WoodStoke Pottery and Kiln Festival\n\n\n\nThe Gulf Coast Kiln Walk Society\, Inc. (GCKWS) will be hosting the 18th\n\nAnnual WoodStoke Pottery and Kiln Festival on Saturday\, Feb. 18\, starting at\n\n9 a.m. until 4 p.m.   Two historical wood-fueled kilns\, the Ralph Phillip's\n\nSouthern Groundhog Kiln and the 32-foot Anagama Kiln will be unloaded during\n\nthe festival. This event will be held at the GCKWS kiln site\, 7507 Buckeye\n\nDr.\, Navarre\, FL.\n\n\n\nFeatured artist this year is Chris Gustin\, professor Emeritus\, University of\n\nMassachusetts\, Dartmouth.  Chris has exhibited\, lectured and taught\n\nworkshops in many locations throughout the world.  Many potters will be\n\nexhibiting and selling their one-of-a-kind artwork during the festival.\n\nThe public may also assist the potter unloading the kiln\, if they wish.\n\n\n\nA limited number of commemorative bowls are available for purchase at $15.\n\nThis allows individuals purchasing a bowl to sample the seafood dishes and\n\nchili prepared by the Navarre Garden Club\, along with wood fired pizza from\n\nYe Old Brother's Brewery.   All proceeds benefit the GCKWS building and the\n\nNavarre Garden Club.   The event is free and opened to the public.
