2nd Annual First Responders Appreciation Rally - Sponsored by: Pirates of the Panhandle
The 2nd Annual First Responders Appreciation Rally sponsored by Pirates of the Panhandle will be Saturday, September 17th to show support for law enforcement and ALL first responders who put their lives on the line daily to protect and serve our citizens.
Proceeds from this Rally will benefit the Northwest Florida Chapter of Concerns Of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) who provide resources to assist in rebuilding the lives of surviving families and co-workers of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.
Everyone is asked to gather in the Helen Back Again parking lot, just east of the Navarre Beach Bridge, at 10 am and then march with signs down Highway 98 to Navarre Park.
There they will hold a short ceremony with a few speakers and distinguished guests.
The group will then march back to Helen Back Again where pizza will be provided to everyone that makes a donation to C.O.P.S.
There will door-prizes with all proceeds being donated to C.O.P.S.
For more information on the Rally or to donate a door prize, please call the Event Coordinator, Ray White at 850-240-7554.
The Pirates are asking everyone to make signs showing your support for our First Responders and to wear something BLUE.
