
The Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce Military & Veteran Affairs Committee will host the 7th Annual Military Appreciation Picnic, “Saluting Hometown Heroes,” on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. MOVED DUE TO WEATHER to St. Sylvester Catholic Church, 6464 Gulf Breeze Pkwy, Gulf Breeze, FL.
This Navarre community-wide event is a special day dedicated to honoring, remembering, recognizing and appreciating those who have served and those who are currently serving.
Presented by Eglin Federal Credit Union, the picnic is free for all military in the Navarre area — active duty, retired, veterans, and their families.
LIVE ENTERTAINMENT:
Guests are invited to enjoy a fun-filled day featuring free food, games, LIVE entertainment by the Blue Levee Band, giveaways, fellowship, and military and veteran resources. More than 600 attendees are expected to join in this celebration of our hometown heroes.
The Chamber is currently seeking goody bag items and raffle prizes through May 7th to help make this event a success, including contributions for the Grand Prize giveaway. Businesses, organizations, and individuals who would like to get involved or arrange donation pick-up can contact the Chamber Office at 850-939-3267.
Nonprofit organizations, Veteran Service Groups and Associations, and Navarre-area churches are especially invited to be part of this special community event.
