33rd Annual Charity Chili Cookoff & Volleyball Tourney on Navarre Beach

Caring and Sharing of South Santa Rosa County is teaming up with Juana’s Pagodas to present the 33^rd Annual Charity Chili Cook-Off and Volleyball Tournament on Sunday, October 11, 2026. The community is invited to come out, enjoy the festivities, and support a meaningful cause.
 
Caring and Sharing of South Santa Rosa County is a seasonal nonprofit organization run entirely by community volunteers. Dedicated to supporting residents in South Santa Rosa County facing hardship during the holiday season, the group operates exclusively during this time of year. The Chili Cook-Off and Volleyball Tournament serves as its largest annual fundraiser, helping to provide much-needed assistance to those in need.
 
“We’re looking forward to fall and the chili competition and volleyball tournament which helps Caring and Sharing raise money and kicks-off our non-profit’s fundraising activity for its holiday distributions,” said Ann Thompson, Caring & Sharing president. “Marie Rudzki and team Juana’s are always gracious to host the annual fundraiser to take place where people can enjoy the beach, beverages, volleyball, chili, salsa, and a raffle all while raising dollars for locals in need.”
 
Money raised at the cook-off and tournament will be used to purchase non-perishable food items to make this holiday season brighter for many families in South Santa Rosa County. We encourage you to share this information and attend.
 

 
Chili Cook-off & Volleyball Tourney Event Details:
When: Sunday Oct. 11, 2026
Where: Juana’s Pagoda and Sailor’s Grill, 1451 Navarre Beach Cswy, Navarre Beach

Event Schedule & Details:

•  9:30 a.m. – Volleyball Registration
  • 4 Person Co-ed Volleyball Teams
  • $25 per person entry fee, which also includes entry to judge in chili cook-off
• 10:30 a.m. – Volleyball Tournament Start
• 12:00 p.m. – Chili or Salsa Cook-off Registration
  • $20 cook-off registration – enter either chili or salsa or both if you’re feeling lucky
  • For chili cook-off - bring pre-cooked chili in crockpot with ladle
  • For salsa cook-off- bring chips
  • Categories for chili include: Fowl Chili, Double Burner, Bean There Farted That, Carnivore Amore, and Judges Choice
• 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Chili and Salsa Tastings
  • $20 donation at the door to taste
• 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. – Live music by Goodbye August
• 4 p.m. – Chili and Salsa Winners Announced
• 4 p.m. – Raffle Prizes

 
Juana’s Pagodas will have a drink special for Volleyball and Cook-off participants.
 
Operating solely during the holidays, Caring and Sharing relies on community support and fundraising events to carry out its mission of spreading hope, dignity, and kindness to neighbors in need.
