Safeguard your business, customers, employees and profits.
Cyber attacks on small businesses are on the rise. Last year, 43 percent of all attacks worldwide were targeted on small businesses with less than 250 employees, according to the cybersecurity firm Symantec's 2016 Internet Security Threat Report. While no technology or program can stop every attack, taking basic precautions can significatly reduce the rish of your business falling victim. To survive in the online economy, it is extremely important that small businesses develop a cybersecurity strategy, and the Florida SBDC is here to help.
The Navarre Chamber is excited that the Florida SBDC at the University of West Florida is bringing our members a NO-COST WORKSHOP on "Cybersecurity Basics for Small Business" on Wednesday, May 23 at the Navarre Visitor Information Center from 9am to 11am.
The workshop will be presented by Dorian Zwierewicz, Assistant Director, Florida SBDC at UWF.
The program was developed in partnership between Ridge Global, globally-recognized rish management and cybersecurity firm.
Attendees will receive the Florida SBDC's Byte-Size Program Cybersecurity Basics for Small Business Guidebook.
