‘De-Contaminate Navarre’ is the title of a series of Workshops the Navarre Garden Club is sponsoring to address the Environmental Hazards we should all be concerned with.
The first in the series, “Hazards We are Facing” will be addressed by Santa Rosa County Commissioner Bob Cole, on October 18th at 5:30 in the Navarre High School cafeteria.
Commissioner Cole, in addition to representing District 2 on the Board of Commissioners since 2002, is also the Environmental Vice Chair for the Fl Association of Counties. As such he is very aware of the ecological problems that currently threaten all of us, and those that are developing.
We have all noticed the tremendously increased building that has been going on in Santa Rosa County and the rapid population growth. As responsible residents, we must be aware of the dangers, and each do what we can to defeat them. We all want to leave this world just a little better than we found it, for our children and grandchildren.
Mark your calendar for Oct 18th. Spend just a little time learning a little about this very important topic, and ‘Take the Pledge’ to do what you can to Make our World Healthy Again.
