The Navarre Chamber is co-hosting the 3rd Annual Hometown 4th of July Celebration on Navarre Beach with the Santa Rosa County Tourist Development Office/Relax in Navarre Beach on Sunday, July 4, 2021 on Navarre Beach. Additional sponsors include: T-Mobile, ERA American Real Estate and Navarre Press.
At 7 pm, Johnny Earthquake & the Moondogs will perform at the Sand Crab Pavilion.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
The concert set-up will be a little different that Tunes by the Dunes.
To allow for more parking on the beach, we are moving the concert stage to the sand - just west of the Sand Crab Pavilion. We encourage everyone to bring a chair, blanket and/or towel.
For over a quarter century, Johnny Earthquake and the Moondogs have established themselves as one of the top show bands not only in Louisiana, but in the entire south. The Moondogs are a 9-10 piece band from Natchitoches, La., and feature a full horn section, a beautiful and dynamic female singer, and, of course, front man Johnny Earthquake. Johnny Earthquake and The Moondogs are extremely versatile, playing all types of music from the 50?s through today, and their critically acclaimed shows truly offer something for everyone. Their diverse repertoire includes rock, rhythm and blues, funk, country, swing, and even old standards if needed. No matter what the event calls for, the Moondogs can deliver. Their high-energy show, packed with singalong favorites, can truly be called: ?The Stuff that SCREAMS are made of!'
