The Florida Department of Health in Santa Rosa County (DOH-Santa Rosa) and CDAC Behavioral Health will host the 2022 National Night Out on August 2, 2022.
Event will be held at the Clyde L. Gracey Community Center located at 5629 Byrom Street in Milton from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 pm.
The National Night Out is a national community building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships.
"We are excited to sponsor the Santa Rosa National Night Out in 2022,” said Vince Nguyen, Health Educator Consultant – Tobacco Prevention Specialist. "This event will provide a great opportunity for families to spend time together and enhance relationships with neighbors and law enforcement in the local community. We hope everyone will come and enjoy the festivities.”
Event will include public safety personnel with vehicles, kids’ activities, over 30 vendors, displays, and free school supplies. Local agencies and business sponsors will provide educational materials and promotional items along with the school supplies for participants, while supplies last. National Night Out is a tobacco free/ vape free event.

National Night Out

TIME: 5:30 p.m. until supplies run out
LOCATION: Clyde L. Gracey Community Center (formerly Milton Community
Center) 5629 Byrom St., Milton
National Night Out is designed to:
(1) Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness
(2) Generate support for and participation in local anti-crime efforts
(3) Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships
(4) Neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
Donations of school supplies are needed. We are asking for the below items:
- Crayons
- #2 Pencils
- Loose Leaf Notebook Paper (wide ruled)
- 3 Prong Folders (any color)
- Composition Note Books (wide ruled or college ruled)
- Glue Sticks
*This is a Tobacco free/Vape free event*
We will be providing free bags of school supplies donated by local agencies and businesses.
This will be an outdoor event (rain or shine, no reschedule date). Vendors will be set up outside in the parking lot. Included with the school supplies will be free local resources, information flyers and other various give a ways from local agency vendors.
