Santa Rosa County's UF/IFAS Extension Office is launching a new program, the Navarre Beach Ambassadors, dedicated to promoting safe enjoyment of Navarre Beach. The office is seeking local volunteers to walk the beach and interact with both local and visiting beachgoers.
Interested individuals are invited to training sessions on either Wed., June 20, from 3-4:30 p.m. or Tues., June 26 from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Navarre Beach Visitor's Center. This session will cover the role of the ambassadors on the beach as well as the educational material they will share with beach visitors.
