We have been a busy group this year!

With our first networking event last week at The Vine Wine Bar, Bistro, and Shoppe and then attending the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge's MartiniGras, we had a great January.

February holds a lot too!

Our networking event this month will be at Florida Metal Works.

Attendees will get to create their own custom business card holder!

With so many of us making resolutions for the year to try something new, learn a new skill, or have personal growth, why not get it done in February? Plus, part of the proceeds will be donated to Navarre High School to help with their shop class!

In addition to getting to learn a new skill from the owner of Florida Metal Works, we will also get to hear from Off the Walls Murals. By hearing from these business owners, we will get to learn and hear from people who break away from the 9-5 desk jobs and participate in a different career field.

The event will be from 5:30-7pm. Light refreshments will be provided. However, leave those prom dresses and tuxes behind! Be sure to wear closed toe shoes because you will be in an actual shop where they create custom stair cases, building parts, fences, and works of art (some of us might have pieces of it in our houses).

While most all of our networking events will be on a Tuesday this year, this event is actually on a Friday! Not a YP member or even a chamber member? Who cares! Come out and have a unique Friday night and help to support our local students.

No matter if it’s for professional networking, a fun Friday night, a date night, or just to get out and meet new people, we look forward to seeing you at this event!
