The mission of VISTA CAP is to stabilize the health and financial stability of families in our community who struggle to overcome deficits in education and opportunity.

VISTA CAP (Community Alignment Project)

• focuses on building our community's capacity to respond collaboratively to community needs
•  
• aligns local systems and services to reduce duplication and maximize outcomes

The United Way of West Florida works directly with the Corporation of National and Community Service (CNCS) to place AmeriCorps VISTA members at VISTA CAP nonprofit partner agencies.
