Santa Rosa County Candidate Forum in Navarre for County Commissioner, Clerk of Court & Supervisor of Elections
The Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Santa Rosa County Candidate Forum on Tuesday, July 23 and Wednesday, July 24. We are inviting our local and regional candidates to participate in this event to help garner participation among residents to become engaged in the elections process.
The forum will be held at East Bay K8 School at 2535 Elkhart Drive.
Special thanks to Andrew McKay / NewsRadio 92.3 for moderating the Navarre Chamber's Forum each night.
Doors will open at 5:30 pm each evening for a “Candidate Meet & Greet” time before the forum begins at 6 pm. The event is free and open to the public, and the Chamber invites county citizens of all ages to attend to learn more about the elections process and about this year's candidates.
The Tuesday, July 23rd Forum will include candidates seeking election for:
- Santa Rosa County Commissioner Districts 1, 3 and 5
- Santa Rosa County Clerk of Court
- Santa Rosa County Supervisor of Elections
- Santa Rosa County School Board of Education Districts 2 and 4
- Santa Rosa County Superintendent of Schools
- Florida State Senate District 1
- Florida State House District 2
- Florida State Committeeman
Each candidate for office will be provided an opportunity to make a brief opening statement, followed by moderated questions pre-selected from the public.
The forum events are scheduled to end at 8 pm each night, and the doors to East Bay K-8 School will be closed at 8:30 pm.
