This workshop is FREE. We have to limit to 150 participants. Register early. These workshops have become the keynote piece for the Florida Disability Task Force in spreading the word to emergency preparedness and response officials, particularly at the local level, including both county emergency management and the voluntary agencies that provide services in shelters and in other places, assisting people with disabilities to be prepared in the event of an emergency. During natural and man-made disasters such as a hurricane or a commercial airliner crash, emergency operations, EMS, Fire Stations, Police, Shelters, Hospitals and Medical Centers obviously play a vital role in response.
