The Florida SBDC at UWF/FWB is presenting “SBIR/STTR Overview and Proposal Writing Tips” on Friday, Sept. 7th from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program supports scientific and technological innovation with federal research funds. Coordinated by the Small Business Administration, SBIR encourages research and development with funding in the form of contracts or grants. This workshop presents the particulars of the program and discusses the specific requirements necessary for qualification. Program includes an overview of SBIR and suggestions for writing a winning proposal. No charge, but pre-registration is recommended. Location: Florida SBDC at UWF/Emerald Coast Campus, 1170 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Library, Bldg. 8 - 2nd floor, 32547. No fee – pre-registration is recommended.
