Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer at the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge. We have an active and well-trained volunteer organization and look forward to having you join our team! We are currently recruiting volunteers to help with animal care, special events, conducting education programs, building enclosures, rescuing injured wildlife, and much more.
Attending the volunteer orientation is mandatory to becoming a volunteer at the Refuge. At this meeting, you will learn how the Refuge operates and about your opportunities as a volunteer. You will receive important information regarding policies and protocols, take a tour of the Refuge's location to see where you will be working, and receive your volunteer t-shirt. There is a $25.00 volunteer fee which covers your volunteer manual and other documents and t-shirt and you must pay the fee at this class.
