Water, the source of all life! The Navarre Garden Club is offering an one day class addressing our water resources. Learn where our water comes from and what we need to do to preserve it for ourselves and for the future. Visit the water reclamation facility to learn how that process works. Spend the day with the Navarre Garden Club learning ways to protect this very important part of your environment. Protecting the environment is one of the major goals of the FFGC. The class ?The World of Water? will take place on 10/15 from 9-3 at the Tiger Point Country Club, 1255 Country Club Rd in Gulf Breeze.* Registration begins at 8:30. Coffee and Danish will be served in the morning. Segments of the program are being presented by Chris Verlinde, UF/IFAS Santa Rosa County Sea Grant Extension, Rick O?Connor, UF/IFAS Escambia County Sea Grant Extension, and Beth Fugate, Fl Dept of Environmental Protection. Lunch will be served at noon. The group will then visit the Water Reclamation Facility, with a tour and presentation from about 1-3. The cost for the day?s class, including lunch, is $12.00.
