Position Responsibilities: Oversee regional monthly close process including reviewing all necessary adjustments and accruals. Review regional and system monthly financial statements for completeness and accuracy. Evaluate actual results against budgets and coordinate variance explanations. Makes recommendations for improving profitability where needed. Manage the preparation of the regional yearly operations budget. Coordinate the creation of the regional yearly capital budget. Updates forecasts for both current performance and new developments. Maintain necessary financial and operational controls. Review with regional and local staff results of audits. Coordinate necessary corrections. Review total revenue activity for unusual discounts, credits or adjustments. Review bad dept expense for proper accruals and adjustments. Responsible for division office accounting close including expense review and accruals. Review with each Region audit reports and determine necessary corrections. Follow-up with Regions those corrections that have been implemented.
