About Us

I'm Jennifer Neilson, founder of My Lead Advantage, an award-winning Purpose, Mindset & Identity Coach, speaker, and leadership development facilitator. I've spent more than 30 years in HR. I started as a personnel clerk, worked my way up to global HR executive, and have consulted with businesses for more than 15 of those years. Along the way I've trained 30,000+ leaders and supported 500+ businesses. Here's what I've learned: HR doesn't have to be hard. Most small and mid-size companies are guessing, Googling, or asking a friend at another company what they do. I help them move from guessing to knowing with my HR Hotline, customized Employee Handbooks, and HR Frameworks. It's simple, but never cookie-cutter. I also know what it feels like to look fine on the outside and be running on empty inside. I was burnt out, buried in imposter syndrome, and lying awake at 2 a.m. replaying everything I didn't get done. The tools that helped me find my way back to myself changed my life. Now I share them with other women. As a coach, I help capable women who are exhausted from holding it all together quiet the mental noise, know who they are, and live with calm, confidence, and peace as the women they were created to be.
