Caring & Sharing of South Santa Rosa Announces Annual Holiday Helping Hand
Are you or someone you know in need of holiday assistance this year?
Caring and Sharing of South Santa Rosa County exists to help!
Each year, Caring and Sharing the forty-five-year-old non-profit organization annually provides a helping hand at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Assistance for families, or individuals who need aid during the holiday season, and that live in South Santa Rosa County.
To receive assistance, you must live in South Santa Rosa County, within these boundary lines: east from County line, north to the Yellow River, and west to include Gulf Breeze.
At Thanksgiving, Caring and Sharing provides food boxes, gift cards for perishable food items, and a clothing voucher from Interfaith Ministries Thrift Shop on highway 98. At Christmas, Caring and Sharing provides food boxes, gift cards for perishable food items, gift cards for teens, and toys & clothing for children 12 and under.
Any individual or family in need this holiday season must attend one of only three registration sessions.
Registration is required and must be approved to be eligible and to receive these benefits during any of the following times:
- Saturday, October 3rd (2 pm - 4 pm)
- Sunday, October 4th (2 pm - 4 pm)
- Monday, October 5th (5 pm - 8 pm)
To expedite the process, registrants are encouraged to download and bring a completed registration form.
- Registration will be a drive-through process.
- All registrants will remain in their vehicles during the process.
- Important information you must bring to registration is as follows, proof of identity, proof of residence, and proof of all household income.

Thanksgiving Distribution will be November 22nd
Christmas Distribution will be December 20th.
