Healthy Start Annual Baby Shower

The Healthy Start Coalition, a non-profit organization that works in collaboration with area programs, is hosting the Annual County-wide Baby Shower on Saturday, November 16th from 10 am to 1 pm at the Santa Rosa County Auditorium. The Baby Showers have hosted an average of 500 individuals during the 3-hour events, have been well-received by guests and vendors, and have received much-needed support from the community. With your support and participation, we hope that this year’s event will be even more successful than it has ever been in the past.

The Goals of the Healthy Start Coalition are:

•             To educate Santa Rosa County’s expectant and new mothers and fathers

•             To help parents prepare for healthy pregnancies and positive birth outcomes for their families.

•             To help assure participation in Healthy Start Prenatal and Newborn Risk Screenings for ALL pregnant women and newborns.

•             To ensure parenting education is provided in critical areas of pregnancy and childbirth.

•             To raise awareness of the availability of local pregnancy and newborn community support services

•             Promoting breastfeeding as the best way to nourish, strengthen, and bond with babies.

Participating gives you a wonderful opportunity to make your presence known in the community, increase your visibility, and support our education and awareness efforts.  We ask that you kindly consider a donation Organization to help make the community healthier. We would appreciate any of the following items:

•             Stroller

•             Bassinet

•             Highchair

•             Pack ‘N Play
