Navarre Chamber Update: Working Together to Support Our Business Community

When disaster strikes, our business community is stronger when we stand together.

I hope this message finds you, your families, your employees, and your businesses safe.

As we navigate the impacts of the recent severe weather, I want you to know that the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce is here for you. Whether your business has experienced disruptions, your employees are facing challenges, or you simply need help finding reliable information and resources, we want to hear from you.

We recognize that the impact of severe weather reaches far beyond the doors of a business. It affects employees, customers, facilities, operations, suppliers, and ultimately, our entire community.

    Our Commitment to You

As your Chamber President/CEO, I will be participating in daily calls with the Florida Chamber and the Santa Rosa County Economic Development Office to stay informed, communicate the needs of our local businesses, and help identify resources and opportunities for assistance.

These conversations are an important part of ensuring that the concerns and challenges facing Navarre area businesses are heard and that our community remains connected to available recovery resources.

But I need YOUR help to make these conversations meaningful!

PLEASE LET ME KNOW TWO THINGS:

    1. WHAT DOES YOUR BUSINESS NEED?

Are you experiencing challenges or anticipating needs related to:

  • Staffing or employees who have been impacted?

  • Property damage, flooding, or business interruptions?

  • Access to supplies, equipment, contractors, or other services?

  • Financial assistance or disaster recovery resources?

  • Communication, transportation, or operational challenges?

  • Any other issue affecting your ability to operate or reopen?

  • 2. HOW CAN YOUR BUSINESS HELP?

One of the greatest strengths of the Navarre Chamber is the willingness of our members to step up when our community needs them.

If your business has resources, services, equipment, supplies, facilities, or expertise that could assist other businesses or community members, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

Whether you can provide cleanup assistance, temporary workspace, food, supplies, professional services, or simply a helping hand, we want to know what resources are available within our Chamber family.

Even if your business has not been directly impacted, you may have something another business desperately needs.

By sharing both your needs and your available resources, you will help me better represent our business community during these daily coordination meetings and help us connect those who need assistance with those who may be able to provide it.

    Staying Informed: Reliable Information Matters

The Navarre Chamber is working in support of the Santa Rosa County Emergency Operations Center to help distribute verified information, preparedness tools, and recovery resources to our business community.

Please remember that Santa Rosa County Emergency Management is the official authority for emergency and disaster information affecting our area.

All emergency alerts, reentry restrictions, and public safety directives should come directly from Santa Rosa County Emergency Management and the appropriate public safety authorities.

The Chamber's role is to support those efforts by helping ensure our businesses receive accurate, timely information and know where to turn for assistance.

    We Are Stronger Together

A resilient community depends on businesses being able to prepare, respond, recover, and reopen. And that is not something any of us should have to navigate alone.

Our Chamber is more than a networking organization. We are a community of businesses, neighbors, friends, and problem-solvers who look out for one another.

I want to make sure that as resources become available and conversations take place at the county and state levels, the needs of our Navarre business community are part of those discussions.

Please reply directly to this email and let me know:

  • What help or resources your business needs.

  • What resources, services, or assistance your business may be able to offer.

  • Any concerns or challenges you believe need to be shared with our county and state partners.

  • No concern is too small to share, and no offer of help is too small to make a difference.

I will continue to share updates as verified information and resources become available.

Thank you for everything you do to make the Navarre area such a special place to live, work, and visit.

We are Navarre Strong - and together, we will continue to take care of our businesses, our neighbors, and our community.
