PNS WELCOMES HONOR FLIGHT FOR VETERANS OF WWII, KOREAN WAR, and VIETNAM WAR

Pensacola International Airport is proud to host an Honor Flight for a group of heroic veterans from Covington County, Alabama, and beyond, as they embark on a memorable journey to Washington, D.C. The Honor Flight, organized to pay tribute to veterans of World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War, will depart from the airport early on the morning of October 12 and return the same evening.

The veterans will visit some of the nation's most iconic memorials and monuments, including the WWII Memorial, Korean and Vietnam War Memorials, Marine Corps Iwo Jima Memorial, and Air Force Memorials. They will also witness the solemn Changing of the Guard ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery.
Pensacola International Airport is honored to support this occasion. Northwest Florida Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) and TSgt Nicole Brosseau, who is leading the event on behalf of Air Force ROTC from the University of West Florida and University of South Alabama, will stand a flag line to welcome home the veterans as a show of respect for their service.
