Santa Rosa County Animal Services to Host Fall Fest Adoption Event Saturday, October 10
Santa Rosa County Animal Services will celebrate the season with a Fall Fest Adoption Event, sponsored by Wicked Pirates, on Saturday, October 10, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the shelter, located at 4451 Pine Forest Road in Milton.
As part of the event, all adoptions will be just $10 for the day, allowing residents to find a new four-legged family member while helping shelter pets find loving homes. The event is also an opportunity for community members to learn more about getting involved with the animal community.
In addition to meeting adoptable dogs and cats, attendees can enjoy a festive afternoon at the shelter featuring food and coffee vendors, local vendors and crafts, and other activities.
Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck will be on-site and will provide free coffee to the first 50 attendees. Taste Atlas will also be serving up food, with additional vendors and crafts available throughout the event.
“We’re excited to welcome the community to the shelter for a fun fall event and, hopefully, help some of our shelter pets find their families,” said Randy Lambert, Chief of Santa Rosa County Animal Services. “Events like this give people a chance to meet our adoptable pets while enjoying a fun afternoon with the community. We encourage anyone considering adding a pet to the family to stop by and see who might be waiting to meet them.”
