Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners approve implementation of transportation impact fees
 
On Monday, Feb. 3, 2025, the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners approved the implementation of transportation impact fees. Collection will begin on May 5, 2025 on all building applications submitted on or after this date. Impact fees are applied to new construction permits that will impact the capacity of the roadway.
 
The transportation impact fees outlined below must be paid prior to or at the time of issuing a building permit and will be allocated for transportation capacity enhancements within the district boundaries indicated on the map below. Find a larger view of the map online here.

Dwelling Unit
  • Single-family detached dwelling unit*, $1,636
*Category also includes a mobile home on a single-family lot
  • Multi-family, low rise, $1,171
  • Multi-family, high rise, $789
Space Unit
  • Mobile home park/RV park, $1,237

  • Retail/commercial, $2,774
  • Office, $1,430
