Recognition of Blackwater Pyrates Hurricane Relief
Santa Rosa County recognized the Blackwater Pyrates for their dedication to service along with their support and donations to assist with hurricane relief.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Recognition of Gulf Breeze Highschool Volleyball Team
Santa Rosa County recognized the dedication and unparalleled work ethic exhibited by the ladies on the team they represent. The Gulf Breeze High School (GBHS) Lady Dolphins Varsity Volleyball team was the only school in the State of Florida to win 30 matches, finishing the season with a 30-2 record. GBHS Varsity Volleyball team obtained the district title for the 6th consecutive year, winning the regional championship finished runner up, ranking number 2 in the state championship. Finally, in the fall 2024 season, several of the players made history by breaking school records and winning various awards.

Approval for the Chairman to sign the enclosed resolution and all related documents to apply for

The board approved a task order award to Rebol-Battle & Associates in the amount of $63,007.50 for Laredo Street sidewalks.

East Bay Blvd. Turn Lane Construction Award
 
Approval of the construction contract award to Chavers Construction Inc. for East Bay Blvd. turn lane improvements in the amount of $2,147,152.58 with a 10% contingency ($214,000). The construction improvements will include left and right turn lanes on Edgewood Drive and the addition of a left turn on East Bay Blvd. The project will also include a new culvert crossing on East Bay Blvd, west of Edgewood Drive. The culvert size will be
upgraded to account for the drainage upgrades on Edgewood Drive that were recently completed.

Spears Street Turn Lane Construction Award

 
Approval of contract award to CW Roberts Contracting Inc. as the apparent low bidder for the Spears Street Turn Lane project in the amount of $377,950.00 with a 10% contingency ($38,000). The project includes the construction of a new right turn lane from Spears Street to Hwy 90 and a new right turn lane from Hwy 90 onto Spears Street. The project also includes minor traffic signal adjustments,
drainage, and utility work.
