GRANTS & AWARDS
 
  • The Amazon Small Business Grant supports business growth for Amazon Business account users. A free business account can be created to apply for those that do not have one already. Applicants can receive the grant prize of $25,000, one of four $20,000 grants, one of 10 semi-finalist grants of $15,000, and other prizes. Applications are due May 21
  • Caress has launched the Caress Dreams Fund to support its mission of elevating women of color founders. A cohort of 12 women will participate in a crowdfunding accelerator program, resulting in a $5,000 grant for each business, coaching, and creative services to support business growth and fundraising campaigns. Applications are due by May 24.
  • The Comcast Rise grant will provide small businesses with marketing, media, technology, and creative services. The grant will reward 500 businesses across five major cities: Detroit, Baltimore, Memphis, Philadelphia, and Portland, Oregon, to help “uplift” local communities. Applications will run throughout June.
  • The eBay Up & Running Program “gives back to the small businesses powering America,” awarding $10,000 to 50 eBay business sellers, plus an additional $500 stipend to apply toward eBay Refurbished office equipment. Applications close on June 9
  • The Economic Development Administration (EDA) is now accepting applications for its STEM Talent Challenge. Applicants should have ideas to create and implement innovative science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) work-based learning models. Applicants should be innovation-driven businesses that would “accelerate economic competitiveness” with their new ideas. Applications are due June 12
