Water Shortage Warning - 2/17/2026
The Northwest Florida Water Management District has issued a Water Shortage Warning across its service area due to ongoing drought conditions, significantly below normal rainfall, and declining stream flows and groundwater levels. The District is encouraging voluntary water conservation, particularly reducing outdoor irrigation and watering only during early morning or evening hours to minimize evaporation.At this time, the warning is advisory in nature and does not impose mandatory restrictions.
