Invitation - Online Dangers free conference

Hello Friends of Magdalene’s:

A recent study estimates that 200,000 people were sex trafficked in Florida last year.  Our children are at risk . . . yes, right here in our Escambia and Santa Rosa communities.  These are facts that we at Magdalene’s cannot ignore.

I’d like to invite you to an informative, free conference on August 26 or 28 (same conference with 2 date options).  Through a partnership with Santa Rosa County District Schools, we are pleased to present these opportunities addressing online dangers.

If you have ever attended Magdalene’s conferences, you know that we bring experts to address important, relevant topics.  This year’s conferences will offer valuable information for parents, grandparents, educators, healthcare providers, and all other concerned citizens.  Content is intended for ages 13 and up.

Seating is limited; registration is encouraged.  To register, click HERE or scan the QR code below.

Dr. Andrew Doan, an expert in media addictions, as well as Carissa Phelps, an attorney and a survivor of childhood exploitation, will be joined by law enforcement officers to take a candid look at what’s happening on the other side of our youth’s screens.  Plus, they’ll help equip attendees with tools to help keep our kids safe.

I encourage you to take advantage of this no-cost opportunity to hear from experts about online risks, and how to best protect ourselves and our kids.  Lives depend on it.
In the fight,

Angie Ishee
