The Florida Supervisors of Elections Association is proud to announce an exciting scholarship opportunity aimed at supporting our next generation of leaders. In a commitment to furthering education and civic engagement, the Florida Supervisors of Elections is offering three $1,200 scholarships to college students across the state, according to Santa Rosa County Supervisor of Elections Tappie A. Villane.
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a registered Florida voter
- Have lived in Florida for at least the two preceding years
- Be majoring in political science, public administration, business administration, or journalism/mass communication
- Be enrolled or accepted as a junior or senior at an accredited Florida college or university
- Maintained a “C” average or above for the previous school year
- Demonstrate financial need
The deadline to apply for a scholarship is March 6, 2026. Applications are available online at votesantarosa.gov or may be picked up from the Santa Rosa County Supervisor of Elections office, 6495 Caroline Street, Suite F, in Milton.
Applications must be submitted to the elections office of the county in which the applicant is registered to vote. Each county will select one finalist to send to the FSE Scholarship Committee for consideration.
